Palawan is the kind of place that makes you forget about the rest of the world for a while. Surrounded by turquoise water, limestone cliffs, hidden lagoons and quiet beaches, every day feels like a little adventure.
For us, Palawan was about more than beautiful views. It was island-hopping in the morning, swimming in crystal-clear water, discovering hidden corners and watching the sun disappear behind the islands. It felt wild, peaceful and completely different from anywhere we had been before.
One of those days we wished could last forever. We spent the day moving between turquoise lagoons, hidden beaches and towering limestone cliffs. Every stop felt completely different, and the views were honestly hard to believe were real.
Getting into the Secret Lagoon felt like discovering a little world of our own. After squeezing through the tiny entrance, we found ourselves surrounded by dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear water. It was one of those moments that made us stop and just take it all in.
Nacpan was the kind of beach where we could easily lose track of time. The long stretch of soft sand, clear blue water and quiet atmosphere made it perfect for slowing down after a busy day of exploring the islands.
Coron completely surprised us with its dramatic landscapes and incredible underwater world. Swimming through clear lagoons, exploring hidden corners and seeing the colorful marine life made this one of the most unforgettable parts of our Palawan adventure.
The best time to visit Palawan is from November to May, when the weather is mostly sunny and the seas are calmer. We especially loved the mornings, when the islands felt peaceful and the water was at its clearest.
El Nido is perfect for island hopping and has plenty of restaurants and places to stay. For a quieter experience, Coron is a great choice, with beautiful surroundings and a more relaxed atmosphere away from the crowds.
Don’t try to see everything in a hurry. Leave room for slow mornings, spontaneous boat trips and quiet moments on the beach. Palawan is at its best when you give yourself time to enjoy it and simply go with the flow.
Palawan quickly became one of those places that felt almost too beautiful to be real. From our first boat ride between the limestone cliffs to quiet evenings by the sea, every day brought a new view and another reason to stay a little longer.
We loved the feeling of being out on the water, discovering hidden beaches and simply enjoying the slower pace of island life. Palawan gave us some of our favorite memories in the Philippines — the kind of moments we know we’ll be talking about for years.
