WHY VISIT UBUD?

A PLACE THAT FEELS DIFFERENT

Ubud is the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. Surrounded by rice fields, jungle, temples and a vibrant local culture, every day feels a little different here.

For us, Ubud was about more than ticking places off a list. It was early mornings, good coffee, friendly locals, hidden corners and simply enjoying the feeling of being somewhere completely different.

THINGS WE LOVED IN UBUD

Bali rice terraces landscape

TEGALLALANG RICE TERRACES

One of those places where we could have stayed for hours. We loved walking between the terraces, taking in the views and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere around us.

Ubud monkey forest

UBUD MONKEY FOREST

A little chaotic, a little funny, and definitely an experience we won’t forget. Walking through the forest while monkeys were jumping around us made this one of the most memorable stops in Ubud.

Path through Bali rice terraces

CAMPUHAN RIDGE WALK

This was one of our favorite ways to slow down and enjoy Ubud. The walk is peaceful, the views are beautiful, and watching the landscape change around you makes every step worth it.

Ubud market

UBUD ART MARKET

We loved getting lost among the colorful stalls and discovering handmade crafts, local artwork and little things we wanted to take home. It’s the kind of place where you never know what you’ll find around the next corner.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

BEST TIME TO VISIT

The dry season from April to October brings sunny days and less rain. But Ubud is beautiful all year round, and we especially love the peaceful mornings when everything feels a little quieter.

WHERE TO STAY

From cozy guesthouses to beautiful villas, Ubud has options for every budget. We love staying close to the rice fields, where mornings are quieter and you can enjoy a more peaceful side of Ubud.

WHAT NOT TO MISS

Explore the temples, rice terraces and local warungs, but leave some time to simply wander. Some of our favorite moments came from the small roads and hidden places we discovered.

OUR TIP

Don’t rush Ubud. Take your time, enjoy the slow pace, try local food and explore beyond the busy streets. Leave room for unexpected experiences — that’s often where the best memories happen.
